Wearable Sensor for Physiological Data

Avery Dennison Medical Solutions from Chicago, IL and Karten Design from Los Angeles, CA have developed a disposable, portable sensor that monitors physiological data. The device tracks data such as calories burned, steps taken, activity levels, and sleep patterns. Data can be uploaded to a computer or mobile device for users to track their performance and monitor wellness. The sensor is to be worn on the back of the left tricep and monitors continuously for up to seven days and is resistant to moisture, soil, and germs.
