Wrist Sensor to Gauge Seizure Severity

A new wrist sensor from MIT researchers has the ability to gauge epileptic seizure severity as accurately as EEG caps or implants. The idea for a wrist sensor came from working with autistic children. Researchers found that children showed spikes in skin conductance before a seizure, which spurred the idea that sensors may be able to predict the onset of a seizure.
