Heat-Sensitive Bandage

Researchers at Monash University have developed a new color-changing bandage that reacts to differences in temperature. Inflammation or problems with blood supply in the wound area may cause changes in temperature, which would be reflected in the bandage coloring. Working like a mood ring, the bandage is able to signal changes that may lead to prevention of future infections.
