New SmartCap Detects Fatigue

EdanSafe from Australia has developed the SmartCap to detect fatigued brains. The fully washable cap is embedded with waterproof sensors in the lining. The sensors measure a person’s electrical brain activity and can detect if the wearer is alert or not. Information is transmitted via Bluetooth to a compatible portable device and users can see their fatigue level. Visual and audible alarms go off if the cap is removed or dangerous levels of fatigue are detected.
