Tactus Dynamic Touchscreens to Help the Blind

New touchscreen technology from Tactus will redefine our traditional touchscreen system.  Instead of essentially a blank, flat surface, the new microfluidic technology will allow for dynamic physical buttons to rise from the surface of the touchscreen and an application will control each button’s placement, size, shape and firmness. The company hopes to be the next generation technology for touchscreen displays, and it is exciting to see the possibility of facilitating touchscreen use for the blind and visually impaired.
