Mind-Controlled Prosthetic Arm

University of Pittsburgh researchers have developed a robotic prosthetic that is operable by thought. The robotic arm uses just two microelectrodes which are implanted in the user’s left motor cortex and a series of complex algorithms that turn brain signals into corresponding movements of the prosthetic.
