Foxconn, or Hon Hai Precision Industry, has revealed its prototype smartwatch to help individuals improve their health. The company, which is the main manufacturer of iPhones and iPads, debuted the compact, wrist-worn device last week. The iPhone compatible smartwatch includes sensors to measure vital signs such as respiration and heart rate and can also check calls and social media posts. The device will automatically make suggestions on how to improve vital signs if an unhealthy reading is detected. A fingerprint scanner is also included to provide security for the user’s data.
