Imagine being able to take your vital signs with just a touch to the forehead. This is what the new Scanadu Scout promises. The pocket-sized device, premiered at the 2014 CES is equipped with technology that can measure your vitals with just a touch to the forehead. The device then syncs to your smart phone where it keeps a record of your prior readings, allowing you to share this information with your physician.
The Scanadu Scout will retail for $199 and comes with an accompanying smartphone app. The device is still pending approval from the FDA, but the company hopes to provide its Indiegogo supporters with an investigational version of the product in March of 2014.
