Researchers at Stanford Medical have developed a program that will better allow radiologists to track and analyze patient data. The Electronic Physician Annotation Device (ePad) can be used with any PC, Mac or commercial tablet and offers radiologists the opportunity to save, annotate and compare images from radiological scans. This technology will help radiologists when measuring the changes in the lesions of cancer patients. While the software was developed with radiologists in mind, researchers at Stanford Medical see the potential the ePad could have with doctors of other specialties.
